WHERE WE BEGAN

Montfort's story dates back to the 1700s when St. Louis Marie de Montfort a French missionary who carried a strong conviction to serve the needy. His devotion towards preaching and reaching out to the poor sparked a legacy that touched the world. He had a dream of creating a special home to help care for and develop the challenged youths. One of the seeds of his ministry that began to bear fruit is the Brothers of St. Gabriel, running Christian educational institutions.

In 1959, the Brothers of St. Gabriel founded Montfort, dedicated to providing welfare and education to underprivileged youths, so that they can lead a better life and future.

Today, Montfort continues to provide a positive space for learning and living for these youths. Our holistic training programme is designed to take their lives to new heights by providing them with the skills required for the job market.

They will also gain important life skills that will empower them with confidence, motivation, intrapersonal and interpersonal skills for the rest of their lives. As a Montfortian, they won't just be ready for a career; they will be ready for life as well.
