METHOD OF PAYMENT

We have several donation options, which includes:

  1. CIMB Clicks (Associated Credit Card and Banks)
  2. Cheque (Crossed cheques to be made payable to Montfort Boys Town and submitted via mail, walk-in to our office or banked in directly to the accounts stated below)
  3. Online Banking via MAYBANK2U.COM (interbank Giro for local payments, telegraphic transfer for overseas)
  4. Credit Card payment via payment terminal at our office
  5. Cash (via direct transfer through ATM or walk-in to our office)

For cash donation or direct transfer into our account, please email us your remittance slip and include your name, address and phone number, should you wish to claim your tax-exemption receipts.

No, IPAY88 transaction fee is inclusive of the bank and card company charges.

CANCELLATION & REFUND

Yes. Please notify us immediate once the remittance is made as we need to do the required bank reconciliation before we can process the refund.

If a tax exemption receipt has been issued, our policy is to refund the donation only upon receiving the original copy of the tax exemption receipt and performing the bank reconciliation.

TAX EXEMPTION RECEIPTS (FOR MALAYSIAN DONORS ONLY)

If you a Malaysian citizen, you are entitled to tax exemption for all cash conations as defined under sub-section 44(6) of Income Tax Act 1967, Ruj: LHDN.01/35/51/179-6-0679, No. Warta Kerajaan: LN 106-1 October 1959

No there is no minimum amount requirement. You are free to donate any amount and still be eligible for tax exemption.

However, please do note that we have a certain level of administrative cost that needs to be maintained, as such we require your consideration on the appropriate amount should you wish to claim tax exemption.

No there is no maximum amount and you are free to donate any amount and still be entitled to tax exemption.

However, for donations above RM5,000.00 in a single receipt, we are required to declare to the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia, and as such require the following details from you:

  • For Individual donations – we require your Full Name and your Malaysian Identity Card Number
  • For Company donations – we require your Company’s Full Name and your Company Registration Number

We need your Full Name (as required to be written on the receipt) and your mailing address to post the receipt to you. We will also need your email address and telephone number to follow up on your receipt if necessary.

You should receive your tax exemption receipt within 2 weeks of us receiving your notification (together with proof of payment) via email. Please do let us know if this has not happened and we will attend to your request immediately.

We will issue the tax exempt receipt as per request, as long as the transaction and your request date occurred within the same calendar year.

We can only issue a certified true copy receipt to replace the lost original receipt. Please note that to minimize our administrative cost, we will allow a one-time issuance of replacement receipts only.
